At Top Kidz Academy, we recognise that children learn at their own speed. Our guitar classes for kids are structured but personalised to your child’s needs. Even little toddlers can play a toy guitar in our special toddlers guitar class. We craft creative exercises that make guitar learning a fun and enjoyable activity for children. We want the child to not just play the guitar but to feel what they are playing. As they progress in their playing and musicianship, the child will become motivated to not just play songs they know but to improvise new music. In our academy, your child will be presented with numerous opportunities to improvise, play solo and perform in front of others.
Top Kidz Academy runs both private guitar lessons and group guitar lessons for children in Sydney. We teach guitar for recreation as well as high-level exam preparation classes including ABRSM, AMEB, and Trinity College, London. We also offer a personalised in-home guitar classes for students who are unable to attend classes on our Vaucluse campus. Our in-home guitar class brings the music teacher to your doorstep. We believe that a child can learn better if they are healthy – physically, mentally and emotionally. That’s why we offer a range of complementary activities to ensure their total well-being. Our extra-curricular activities are intended to simplify the lives of both parent and child. Children can choose activities they like and parents have the luxury of not having to rush them around to different venues. Less stress equals better learning and engagement.
We run soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming classes. We also offer yoga, ballet and dance lessons. Our foreign language department teaches French, Japanese and Mandarin. Top Kidz Music Method is a collaborative venture between our founder – Jennifer Kim and some of Australia’s best guitarists. A passionate musician Jennifer has devoted her time to nurturing talent.
Our Guitar Method for kids and toddlers combines Jennifer’s personal experiences in the global performing arts platform and her extended knowledge of music, with the skill and expertise of Australia’s greatest guitar talents. It is an inclusive and engaging guitar curriculum that makes guitar learning fun and exciting for children of all ages and abilities.
At Top Kidz Academy, music is accessible to every child – regardless of talent or ability. Our aim is to introduce the beautiful world of music to your child and to help them discover joy, love and passion for music.
Our curriculum is infused with imaginative exercises and activities to make music learning a fun and enjoyable experience for your child. We tailor our curriculum to the child’s age and learning ability. In our toddlers’ music class, for instance, musical scores are transcribed into
numbers that are easy to understand and follow. From preschool onwards, students are encouraged to choose their own pieces of music. Our music teachers guide their progress by customising lesson plans to suit them.
