Our ‘Music Classes for Toddlers’ is a specially crafted introduction to music for children as young as 2 or 3 years’ old. Our popular ‘Music Classes for Kids’ series is highly sought after by parents and students in Sydney. Music classes for kids accept students from 2 years’ old to 17 years’ old.
Top Kidz Academy offers a comprehensive repertoire of music education including piano, cello (acoustic & electric), violin, viola, drums and guitar (acoustic & electric) and much more. Every aspect of music training will be taught in our classes including music theory, sheet reading, aural skills, technique, harmony, melody, rhythm, posture, and strength development. We also conduct specialisations in music composition as well as, band, ensemble, chamber and solo performance.
We run non-exam oriented music classes for children who want to master a musical instrument for recreation purposes. We also conduct exam-ready music classes for students who are preparing for ABRSM or AMEB examinations.
Top Kidz Academy offers both individual private music lessons for kids and group music lessons for kids. We also offer a personalised in-home music tuition service for students who are unable to attend classes in our Vaucluse campus. Our in-home music class brings the music teacher to your doorstep. Top Kidz Music Academy is a unique experience. We are different because we believe in a holistic approach to learning. We believe that a child can learn better if they are healthy – physically, mentally and emotionally. That’s why we offer a range of complementary activities to ensure their total well-being. Our extra-curricular activities are intended to simplify the lives of both parent and child. Children can choose activities they like and parents have the luxury of not having to rush them around to different venues. Less stress equals better learning and engagement.
We run soccer, tennis, golf, and swimming classes. We also offer yoga, ballet and dance lessons. Our foreign language department teaches French, Japanese and Mandarin. Top Kidz Music Method is the brainchild of our founder – Jennifer Kim. Jennifer is a famous Australian classical piano virtuoso. She is considered one of the best classical pianists in the world.
A passionate musician, Jennifer has devoted her time to nurturing talent. She used her extensive experience as a concert pianist and her involvement in the international fine arts platform to design a music pedagogy based on the cognitive functions of the brain. An imaginative and modern approach to musical training, Jennifer’s method focuses on nurturing music appreciation while developing a solid foundation in musical theory and techniques.
At Top Kidz Academy, music is accessible to every child – regardless of talent or ability. Our aim is to introduce the beautiful world of music to your child and to help them discover joy, love and passion for music.
Our curriculum is infused with imaginative exercises and activities to make music learning a fun and enjoyable experience for your child. We tailor our curriculum to the child’s age and learning ability. In our toddlers’ music class, for instance, musical scores are transcribed into numbers that are easy to understand and follow. From preschool onwards, students are encouraged to choose their own pieces of music. Our music teachers guide their progress by customising activities to suit them.
Practise makes perfect in music education. Whilst every parent would like their child to attain great musical success, training self-discipline is a far more important virtue. Regular practising is a pathway to self-discipline that has positive ramifications well beyond that of music. It is a skill for personal development, fulfilment and lifetime success.
